well it's actually the largest most

prestigious women's organization in all

of masonry it's a society with themes

that are built upon five biblical women

actually the guy that started the

eastern star was a very highly regarded

she was apparently JEP his only child

line just as surely as if he had killed

her because he would have no offspring

could carry on the name Jeptha as a jew

would know that God does not accept

bottom line is that the Bible passage is

clearly a warning from God on the danger

of rash vows God does not and has not

putting him put himself in a position of

either sinning by breaking his vow or

sitting by killing his little girl

that's me this is ironic because the

Masons create a same problem when a

swear rash oaths in the Masonic ritual

that brings spiritual and even physical

destruction to their own children

however in typical Masonic fashion they
