SWALLOWING BIG FAT LIES Weston Price & Paleo Debunked

00:02
[Music]
00:15
Shalom brothers and sisters this is dr.
00:19
William snugglin coming to you from with
00:21
one Accord ministries with a video
00:24
teaching today that is primarily on a
00:27
subject of health and nutrition this is
00:32
because we've gotten a lot of questions
00:33
about what we are about to discuss here
00:35
today and it's a it's you know the funny
00:39
thing is you can you can make
00:43
suggestions about people's lifestyles
00:46
you can point out things that are in the
00:49
Bible that they need to do and you know
00:53
it they don't mind so much usually
00:56
unless they're you know obviously
00:57
sinners but on the other hand if you
01:00
start telling them what to eat even to
01:03
the point of you know pointing out if
01:04
there's there's foods in the Bible which
01:06
are clean they can really go ballistic
01:09
on you
01:10
they really are willing to really go to
01:13
the wall over over the issue of diet and
01:16
of course this is a complex subject and
01:19
we aren't gonna be able to do it justice
01:22
in this video but I just want to address
01:24
several things that have come across our
01:28
desks so to speak in recent months that
01:31
are critically important because there's
01:34
a lot of bad advice out there and I am a
01:38
personal victim of that bad advice we'll
01:42
talk about that briefly but you know
01:44
people are ignoring the scriptures
01:47
they're ignoring good nutritional
01:50
science and as a result America is among
01:55
the sickest fattest most diabetic nation
02:01
in the world were terrible in terms of
02:05
those things and all those things can be
02:07
related to lifestyle you know you don't
02:11
become I'm not talking about want type 1
02:14
diabetes for example but you don't
02:17
become a type 2 diabetic just BAM
02:20
because a lightning bolt hits you one
02:22
day and poof you're a diabetic no it's a
02:25
lifestyle choice either you're
02:27
eating too much junk you're eating too
02:29
much milk and dairy and fat or your you
02:33
know you're overweight you're not
02:35
exercising all those things are risk
02:37
factors for diabetes and the same can be
02:41
said for many other diseases like cancer
02:43
heart disease stroke whatever and so
02:48
what we're gonna do today is we're going
02:49
to address one of the major
02:51
fountainhead's
02:52
of this bad information and one of its
02:55
main Acolytes okay so that being said I
03:01
do want to open with a scripture and you
03:04
know we've taught for decades that there
03:09
is and this is not just our idea this is
03:11
from scripture scholars that will tell
03:14
you that there is this law of first
03:15
mention that the first time the almighty
03:18
says something about a topic it's a
03:22
pretty good indication of what his
03:25
desires are for his people so that being
03:29
said we go to the very first chapter of
03:31
the Bible and I know it's something
03:33
you're gonna know what we're gonna say
03:34
but I just want to read this and get
03:36
this on the table on Genesis chapter 1
03:42
verse 29 it says this and Elohim said
03:47
behold I have given you every herb
03:50
bearing seed which is upon the face of
03:52
all the earth and every tree in the
03:56
which is the fruit of a tree yielding
03:58
seed to you it shall be for meat so
04:04
there you have it the first time that
04:07
the almighty the Creator
04:09
you know I'm like I tell people he's the
04:11
Creator he knows what's best for us I
04:13
mean you know that should be
04:15
self-evident the first time he brings up
04:18
the idea of what we eat he says it
04:21
should be you know plant material it
04:24
should be fruits nuts vegetables seeds
04:27
that's what he says and the funny thing
04:32
is is that even though there's you know
04:34
there is the scripture later on in
04:36
Genesis after the flood
04:39
where Noah you know is told by the
04:43
creator that it's alright for him to eat
04:46
meat I would I would submit to you and
04:49
again we've talked about this before but
04:51
just to review for someone who might not
04:53
have seen that earlier video that Noah
04:56
was stepping off the arc and the arc of
04:59
course was full of animals and the
05:02
entire world was drowned I mean if
05:05
you've ever been in a flood you know and
05:08
you happen to be a gardener or know
05:10
somebody in your neighborhood is a
05:11
gardener and the place has been just
05:13
completely flooded you know that
05:15
whatever vegetation is out there is
05:17
ruined it's it's a soggy rotten decaying
05:21
mess and you can't really eat that and
05:23
so the almighty knew this and so he gave
05:26
Noah permission to eat meat and that's
05:31
that's undeniable but I don't think you
05:34
can make a case that sat is his best and
05:38
perfect will for our lives okay so
05:41
bearing that in mind we're gonna look
05:44
now at people that have gone out of
05:47
their way to oppose this viewpoint that
05:51
the ideal diet of the Creator is fruits
05:56
and nuts and seeds and vegetables and
05:59
and you know saw on and that this group
06:03
is called the Weston a price foundation
06:05
and it's named after a dentist who by
06:11
all accounts is a very fine man he was
06:14
born in 1870 and you know anyway he got
06:19
the idea in his head he was observing
06:20
the rapid deterioration of America's
06:24
dental hygiene and this was in the 1920s
06:28
and 30s and so he decided to go and
06:32
travel to other countries to what we
06:35
would call today Aboriginal or
06:39
indigenous people people that for
06:42
whatever reason lived in an area where
06:44
they could not they couldn't be farmers
06:47
and you know the the ones that he
06:50
visitor were the South Sea Island
06:52
and also the people that lived in
06:57
Greenland where of course it's so cold
06:59
that you know they can't really grow
07:02
very much up there and then he also
07:05
looked at the Inuit people the used to
07:08
be called Eskimos but any that are
07:10
called any whit's and then finally he
07:13
looked at the Maasai people in
07:15
sub-saharan Africa and he looked at all
07:19
these people and right now he was a
07:21
dentist and by all accounts he was a
07:23
fine dentist and a lot of these people
07:25
and he observed that they had incredibly
07:28
good health in terms of their teeth
07:31
their teeth were were very very healthy
07:35
by the standards especially compared to
07:38
American teeth and he attributed this
07:41
rightly soul to the problem of sugar the
07:46
fact that Americans and he and we talked
07:49
about this in one of our videos early
07:51
years ago it was called the medical
07:53
conspiracy and we talked about the fact
07:57
that that over the last century American
07:59
consumption of sugar has gone from like
08:02
20 pounds a year to like among
08:05
especially adolescents who are the worst
08:07
in this to a hundred and fifty pounds of
08:10
sugar a year according to the latest
08:12
statistics that's huge that means a lot
08:16
of teenagers are actually eating their
08:18
own weight in sugar on an on an annual
08:22
basis now of course it wasn't that bad
08:25
back when dr. price was around but he he
08:28
observed this and he determined that a
08:31
lot of the problem was too much sugar
08:33
and in that regard he was right he also
08:35
observed even back then that a lot of
08:39
the problem was processed foods foods
08:41
that were not whole entire foods that
08:45
rather they've been gone you know they
08:46
come out of a box or they were processed
08:49
in some way and we all understand now
08:51
what that means I mean you know the joke
08:54
today is among nutritionists if you want
08:56
to avoid processed foods just stay out
08:59
in the middle of the supermarket I mean
09:01
you know go over to the vegetable area
09:04
in the produce area if you if you
09:07
wanna eat meat you know which I don't
09:08
recommend go to the back of the store
09:10
where they have the meat counter the
09:12
fishing counter and so on but stay away
09:15
from the center of the store because
09:16
that's where all of the junk is the
09:18
Hamburger Helper and all these you know
09:21
hot pockets and awful stuff like that do
09:24
you don't want to eat that stuff well
09:25
anyway he discerned this and he was
09:27
right
09:28
excuse me about these things but the
09:31
problem is he also got things wrong he
09:36
extrapolated he built a kind of a
09:40
scaffolding around that correct idea and
09:43
assumed that these people were generally
09:45
an excellent help because they kind of
09:48
appeared to be but this isn't science he
09:52
was a dentist and yeah he had he had
09:54
medical and dental training sure but he
09:56
wasn't he didn't ever like do you know
09:59
blood pressure tests on these people or
10:02
blood work or anything like that he
10:05
basically was just wandering around and
10:08
you know kind of like an explorer
10:09
visiting these different people and and
10:12
he got a lot of things wrong and this is
10:14
something I want people understand
10:16
because for example he did not look at
10:19
the at the infant mortality of these
10:22
people he did not look at their rate of
10:26
heart disease which as we will see was
10:29
actually rather profound he did not look
10:31
at cardiovascular disease things like
10:36
atherosclerosis or arterial plaque which
10:39
we now understand me very dangerous and
10:42
here's the problem even though we have
10:46
this group out now this after his death
10:49
and maybe I don't know maybe while I was
10:51
even still alive this group founded this
10:54
foundation is a nonprofit foundation
10:57
like so many others that was dedicated
10:59
into the idea of spreading this man's
11:02
message if you will because he wrote a
11:05
book and some of what's in the book is
11:07
correct as I have said but a lot of it
11:10
is based on deductions that he made that
11:13
were not founded in actual scientific
11:16
studies most of it in fact was was that
11:19
sort of information
11:20
was right about their teeth but almost
11:23
everything else he got wrong and you
11:26
know so anyway for example he liked the
11:30
South Sea Islanders but the problem with
11:33
them is is again they don't have enough
11:36
land so that they can firm so they they
11:39
resort to fishing and hunting you know
11:42
like wild boars and things but the
11:44
trouble is if you study these peoples
11:46
history they don't have a long life span
11:49
and also if they couldn't find any food
11:53
they would actually eat each other they
11:55
were cannibals and I'm sure the Western
11:58
price foundation does not want to
11:59
recommend that you know kind of diet but
12:02
again you know they didn't think this
12:04
stuff through another group the Inuit
12:08
the Eskimo people who live way up in the
12:11
north and of course they can you know
12:13
they can't grow food there they live on
12:16
things like whale blubber and caribou
12:18
meat and frankly all frankly the only
12:22
way they can get any kind of green stuff
12:24
at all is that they will they would cut
12:27
open I don't mean to be gross here but
12:31
they would cut open like a caribou or a
12:33
reindeer or something like that
12:34
and they would pull out of the of the
12:37
viscera of the animal this green plant
12:41
material at the animal ate and they
12:43
would they would eat that which is okay
12:45
but the problem is these people we see
12:48
now they had terrible bones even though
12:50
they ate more calcium than almost
12:53
anybody on the planet they had horrible
12:55
bone structure they had osteoporosis
12:58
they tended to die 10 years younger than
13:02
their neighbors that were to the South
13:04
in Canada so this isn't a very good
13:08
advertisement you know also they had
13:10
huge amounts of heart disease arterial
13:14
plaque and they also suffered from
13:16
almost an epidemic level of appendicitis
13:20
and if any of you out there I've ever
13:22
had appendicitis
13:23
you know it's terribly painful and it
13:25
usually involves having to have your
13:28
appendix removed now the other group
13:30
which to this day people are always
13:32
laudanum
13:34
they're praising them and all of this
13:36
well the problem with the Messiah is
13:38
again they have a lot of arterial plaque
13:42
and they have atherosclerosis and the
13:46
only reason that they don't die from
13:48
heart disease is because they don't live
13:51
long enough to die from heart disease
13:53
the typical Masai person I think for a
13:57
man their their life expectancy is 42
14:00
and for a woman their life expectancy is
14:03
45 and and it is said by people that
14:06
study these things that for a Maasai
14:10
person to live to the age of 60 would be
14:14
stunning it would be like someone in our
14:16
society living to the age of 105 you
14:19
know which is a pretty rare circumstance
14:22
now here's the thing what we're seeing
14:25
here is that the people and they're
14:27
following a diet of like for example the
14:30
Masai people they mainly eat milk and
14:33
blood that's what they eat and when they
14:37
can find a kill you know if they find
14:39
like an antelope or some other game
14:42
animal down in African savannah
14:45
they'll eat that but mainly they survive
14:47
on milk and blood and because of that
14:50
they have all these health problems so
14:54
even though they're extremely they're
14:56
very athletic people and some people
14:58
have said that's probably why they live
15:01
so long is because they run everywhere
15:03
they their if you see the pictures of
15:06
them they're very tall and slender and
15:08
and it's because they run like the
15:10
typical Messiah I am told runs 12 miles
15:13
a day because they don't have you know
15:16
horses or any other you know animals to
15:19
ride and most of them do not have or
15:22
cannot afford any kind of automobile or
15:25
anything like that so that helps them
15:27
because the first exercise is very good
15:29
but still they only live to 40 or 50
15:32
years old typically and that's because
15:35
of this diet that's heavy in animal fats
15:38
and and meat and dairy so here's the
15:43
thing
15:44
if you read their literature and I'll
15:46
tell you they have the the group puts
15:49
out a cookbook called nourishing
15:50
traditions it says June or miss cookbook
15:53
it's like this thick by Sallie Fallon
15:56
and another woman whose name escapes me
15:58
and basically it promotes all of this
16:01
bad science all of this you know stuff
16:04
that just is not borne out by any
16:06
scientific literature whatsoever except
16:09
really old antiquated studies if you
16:12
read there are references in his
16:14
cookbook to be sure but they all refer
16:17
people back to stuff that's written by
16:19
Western price foundation people who of
16:22
course they're gonna be biased or it's
16:24
referencing really really old old
16:27
studies that are literally literally
16:29
antiquated to go back you know to
16:32
probably Western prices lifetime so
16:35
anyway forget they for example they're
16:38
very much into the idea of eating raw
16:42
milk quarts and ports of raw milk a day
16:45
this state they really push this now
16:47
aside to the fact that raw milk is
16:49
illegal in most states beyond that it
16:53
isn't a good idea because even if it's
16:54
organic even if it's non pasteurized and
16:58
not homogenized raw organic milk still
17:02
has mammalian hormones in it and those
17:06
hormones can cause cancer it's you know
17:10
especially in terms of things like
17:12
reproductive organs both men with their
17:16
prostate and learn with their breast
17:18
cancer or uterine cancers it's a very
17:21
common issue and yet they're pushing
17:23
this stuff they also claim that a
17:26
cholesterol is an essential nutrient now
17:30
here's the problem with that aside for
17:32
them fact that cholesterol has been
17:34
undeniably implicated in in heart
17:38
disease and stroke you know all this
17:41
stuff also the body makes cholesterol in
17:45
it's made in the liver I mean I am NOT
17:48
eating anything with cholesterol and in
17:50
years except I might have occasionally
17:53
you know if I'm eating out or whatever
17:54
might have had
17:55
little bit of cheese but other than that
17:56
and yet I'm doing fine I'm cholesterol
17:59
if you were to see my blood work my
18:02
blood work is impeccable it's not too
18:04
high and it's not it's perfect and it's
18:06
because of the diet I follow which is
18:08
basically an entirely plant-based
18:11
plant-based diet so anyway they say that
18:15
you need cholesterol of course you do
18:17
need some your brain needs it but here
18:20
your liver will manufacture what you
18:22
need so it's not an essential nutrient
18:25
and you need to understand that this
18:27
group the Western price foundation gets
18:30
a lot of its money from farmers which
18:33
makes sense you know because you know
18:35
the dairy farmers and the meat farmers
18:37
what are their organic or or not they
18:41
really fear the message of the Genesis
18:45
1:29 diet they don't want people not
18:48
eating meat they don't want people not
18:50
drinking milk or eating cheese so the
18:52
Western price foundation is like a
18:55
godsend for them if you'll pardon the
18:57
expression now the funny thing is is the
18:59
Western price foundation tells us that
19:03
we are not to eat beans or legumes and
19:08
they they advocate kind of the same
19:09
thing as the Paleo diet people advocate
19:12
and they say there but the funny thing
19:15
is these these foods beans and legumes
19:17
are actually very rich in phytonutrients
19:20
and they are rich in lectins and all of
19:23
these things are anti-cancer nutrients
19:27
this has been shown by many many studies
19:30
if you go to some place like
19:32
nutritionfacts.org which is a nonprofit
19:35
website run by dr. Michael Greger or if
19:40
you go to veg source.com I mean these
19:42
are places you can go to get the science
19:45
behind what I'm saying and anyway that's
19:48
the funny thing the very thing they're
19:50
saying don't eat is the very thing that
19:52
helps the human body fight off cancer
19:55
and that's pretty darn ironic now these
19:58
people they promote a wide range of
20:01
really bizarre ideas that are not
20:03
supported by science one bit for example
20:08
they say
20:09
butter and butter oil are super foods
20:11
and this dr. price believed they
20:14
contained what he called an x-factor
20:17
that that basically gives you healthy
20:20
bones healthy teeth all this stuff the
20:23
other thing they promote is they they
20:25
promote glandular extracts in other
20:27
words you can go to to certain health
20:30
food stores or practitioners that
20:34
believe in this philosophy and they will
20:37
sell you a bottle of desiccated liver or
20:41
desiccated famous or thyroid gland and
20:45
then they will tell you okay let's say
20:47
for example you haven't you have a
20:48
thyroid condition they would say you
20:51
take this this desiccated thyroid woods
20:54
under stuff in it - I mean they put you
20:56
know it's like a combination of things
20:58
and that's gonna help your thyroid or if
21:01
you have whatever you take that organ
21:03
meat and and they're really big on this
21:06
this thing of Oregon means they also
21:09
tell a people to have poached brains of
21:12
animals with their meal if their kids
21:14
won't eat them because it's rather
21:15
disgusting they say well hide it in
21:18
something and get your kids to eat it I
21:20
would never do something like that if I
21:23
had little children now the other thing
21:25
they say is that if a mother a mother of
21:29
a newborn is not able to breastfeed
21:32
whatever reason they tell instead of
21:34
things that they should give her give
21:36
them the baby cow's milk and meat they
21:40
actually recommend you to take meat in
21:42
puree it in like a blender or something
21:45
and so that it's liquefied and then feed
21:47
it to this infant and again that's
21:51
terrible advice and they recommend that
21:54
fruits and vegetables should be limited
21:56
in children's diet I'm sure most of you
21:59
are scratching your head here by now
22:00
because most of this advice sounds
22:03
bonkers and it is it frankly is and I'm
22:07
not saying these people aren't good
22:09
hearted people but they I hate to say
22:12
but it's almost like a cult I mean they
22:14
follow this this philosophy that's
22:16
promoted on his website without ever
22:19
looking at the real life science because
22:22
they're there
22:23
a handful of studies that are mostly
22:26
funded by the dairy industry by the meat
22:29
industry the poultry industry that that
22:33
that will substantiate this stuff and if
22:35
you go and examine this stuff as people
22:38
like dr. Greger and others have done you
22:41
will find that there is huge problems of
22:43
methodology in most of these studies now
22:47
they also will claim that the people who
22:51
have high cholesterol live the longest
22:53
and that is just well my vocabulary
22:59
fails me because that is just nonsense I
23:02
mean there are countless studies out
23:04
there that indicate that if you have
23:07
high cholesterol it can clog up your
23:10
arteries it can you know cause problems
23:14
of your brain in terms of clogging the
23:17
arterial pathways into the brain and you
23:20
end up with with ischemia or strokes or
23:23
something like that no that's horrible
23:26
advice you know there is no evidence
23:29
that anybody who eats a lot of
23:33
cholesterol lives longer I mean yeah
23:35
sure anybody can come up with an
23:37
anecdotal thing I've had people telling
23:39
you oh my grandmother ate eggs and bacon
23:42
every day and smoked cigars and she
23:45
lived to be a hundred and three well
23:47
yeah and she might have had a really
23:49
good Constitution that she inherited
23:51
from her her parents but that doesn't
23:54
prove the overall effect at all now
23:58
there's this dr. Joseph Mercola who has
24:03
become kind of the main most public
24:06
spokesman for this kind of philosophy in
24:08
this kind of diet he's an honorary board
24:11
member of the Weston a price foundation
24:12
and he succeeded to that as kind of
24:16
their spokesperson because the guy that
24:18
purse we didn't preceded him excuse me
24:20
whose name was Stephen burns
24:23
died of a stroke at the age of 45 now
24:27
that doesn't sound like a very good
24:28
advertisement for a health plan or a
24:30
diet plan when it's leading spokesman's
24:33
drops the dead of a heart attack before
24:35
they're even 50
24:36
and I mean I'm not trying to make light
24:38
of someone I mean obviously it's bad
24:40
that someone dies for whatever reason
24:42
but you're gonna saw years off of your
24:44
life if you follow this diet and on top
24:48
of everything else they will tell you oh
24:50
you need special butter you need like
24:52
grass-fed butter from New Zealand or you
24:55
need raw milk or whatever all these
24:57
things and all of this stuff is more
24:59
expensive and as I mentioned already
25:02
there's no real evidence that that it
25:04
has any fewer hormones in it that are
25:07
you know contractors let me just talk
25:10
about this for a moment
25:12
Dairy Dairy Milk is designed to be eaten
25:16
by baby cows you know it's not designed
25:19
to be by humans either babies or adults
25:22
and you think about it a cow gets really
25:27
really big very fast it grows up from
25:30
being a little calf into being a
25:32
thousand-pound cow in a few months and
25:34
that's partly because of the dairy that
25:37
it's eating from its mutter and you know
25:40
the hormones and rent and all the rest
25:42
and then people say well look at how big
25:44
and strong and tall the the Masai
25:47
warriors are and yes that's true they're
25:50
very tall and they are very strong and
25:52
very athletic but that's because they're
25:55
eating all of this milk and you know
25:57
here's the interesting thing
25:58
researchers have found that when a when
26:01
a Masai woman becomes pregnant they are
26:06
taken off this diet they're fed
26:09
vegetables and the Am's and beans or
26:13
something like that
26:14
until the baby is born why is that
26:16
because somewhere down through the
26:19
centuries the Masai tribes discovered
26:22
that if you fed a woman this diet the
26:25
baby that she would give birth to would
26:27
be too large to come out of the birth
26:29
canal you may and of course back then
26:31
they didn't have any idea this thing's
26:33
like cesarean section sections so you
26:36
know this shows how dangerous this is
26:38
people wonder today why aren't wire kids
26:41
getting so tall why are they I mean
26:43
obesity I mean one in three children is
26:46
obese in this country and you know
26:49
all girls are getting their period
26:51
sooner I mean there are girls that are
26:53
seven or eight years old that are having
26:54
menstrual periods and that's because so
26:57
many of our children are eating dairy
27:00
products which are loaded with these
27:02
powerful animal
27:03
mammalian hormones and they're not
27:06
eating foods like soy which are full of
27:10
good healthy phytoestrogens
27:13
that can help prevent hormonal anomalies
27:16
can help prevent especially breast
27:19
cancer so this is just not a good
27:22
situation
27:24
please check out our wellness based DVDs
27:28
on our website thank you
27:33
okay now we're gonna dig into this
27:35
because we want to look at some of this
27:37
science for example this is from let's
27:43
see this is from a plant based science
27:45
newsletter out of London and it was
27:48
published in nutrition and metabolism
27:49
and here's what they found they found it
27:52
if you took a stringent vegan diet now
27:55
vegan doesn't mean in from the planet
27:57
vegan it means that you eat just plants
28:01
you don't eat fish or eggs or dairy or
28:04
meat so that's what we're talking about
28:06
here we prefer to just call it a
28:08
plant-based diet because there are some
28:10
people that are vegans that are a little
28:12
bit you know strange I mean they they
28:16
get into the idea that animals are as
28:17
important as humans and that you know
28:20
then that's just not biblical
28:22
so we're not talking about that in any
28:23
event they found out that these vegans
28:26
that their biomarkers of oxidative
28:29
stress that they put these people on it
28:32
what did we call it Daniel fast and you
28:35
know what that is from Daniel chapter 1
28:36
in the Bible they basically ate legumes
28:40
and the King James Bible it's called
28:43
pulse but that's just an old-fashioned
28:45
word for like porridge made out of beans
28:48
or rice or lentils or something like
28:51
that you know something very very
28:52
healthy and they found out that all
28:54
these people that ate this diet which is
28:59
essentially plant-based that they got
29:02
out of the lion's den of cardiovascular
29:04
disease and no metabolic problems at all
29:09
it was perfectly healthy that is not a
29:13
surprise that a diet composed entirely
29:15
of plant-based foods should make people
29:19
more healthy they saw improvements in
29:21
blood pressure cholesterol and in
29:24
centralist resistance that that is a
29:26
condition that relates to how likely are
29:31
the movement to type 2 diabetes CRP
29:35
levels c-reactive protein which is a
29:39
very high predictor for heart disease
29:40
all of these things were just flawless
29:42
they were immaculate now under this
29:45
study followed up by saying
29:47
the basically the determinant the number
29:49
one risk factor for overall mortality an
29:52
entire world was not eating fruits and
29:55
vegetables if you never eat fruits and
29:57
vegetables you're gonna die a lot sooner
30:00
than if you do because there's so rich
30:02
in antioxidants and I cancer
30:06
you know nutrients and things of that
30:09
nature okay now they took people that
30:12
were lapsed vegetarians like here today
30:14
a lapsed Catholic that someone kind of
30:16
fell away from the Catholic Church
30:18
well laughs vegetarian is someone who
30:20
does that stop being a vegetarian and
30:22
started eating animal products and they
30:25
notice that these people had a 50%
30:28
increase in risk for diabetes and heart
30:32
disease just from eating meat once a
30:35
week from once we could cut their
30:38
lifespan by an average of three point
30:40
six years and yet these Western price he
30:44
want you to just probably guzzle the
30:45
milk like it's going out of style and
30:48
they want you to eat all this grass-fed
30:50
beef and so on and it's almost like a
30:52
death warrant you know now what they
30:55
found out they did a study in taiwan
30:57
taiwanese people and they discovered
30:59
that strict vegans had no diabetes at
31:02
all they discovered that women who ate
31:04
months and week and men who ate be two
31:08
to three ties away they had a
31:09
dramatically higher rate of diabetes
31:12
type two the advantage the excuse the
31:17
invent a study see a seven day
31:19
Adventists are a sect of the Christian
31:22
Church which a lot of things they teach
31:24
you should be a vegetarian if not a
31:26
vegan and not all Adventists follow this
31:30
of course just like everything else in
31:32
in churches but a lot of them doing so
31:34
they've done Health Studies on
31:36
Adventists and they have fun that they
31:38
have a much less chance of getting
31:40
diabetes or heart disease in fact right
31:42
now the Adventist population the
31:46
demographic of seventh-day adventists
31:47
that live in and around Loma Linda
31:49
California which is where a lot of them
31:52
are concentrated they are the healthiest
31:55
longest live group in
31:57
world they even surpassed the Okinawan
32:00
people because the Okinawan people have
32:02
started eating Big Macs and french fries
32:05
and that is just decimated their their
32:07
longevity
32:08
the seventh-day adventists lives many
32:11
years longer than a typical American
32:14
eating a meat based diet now in the
32:17
Journal of Cell Metabolism you will find
32:20
a tract six thousand three hundred
32:22
eighty one adults for eighteen years and
32:25
they found that eating diet rich in
32:28
animal products makes you four times
32:31
more likely to die of cancer than
32:34
someone eating a low protein plant-based
32:37
diet
32:38
additionally they said the risk factor
32:41
for eating animal products was
32:43
comparable of that of smoking a pack of
32:45
cigarettes a day and this isn't some
32:49
nutty you know vegan journal this is the
32:52
Journal of cell metabolism they found a
32:55
75% increase in mortality in middle-aged
32:59
cause biting lots of animal protein now
33:05
this journal another journal UCL Medical
33:09
Journal said the chicken wing you're
33:12
eating could be as dangerous as a
33:13
cigarette and we all know how dangerous
33:16
cigarettes are and this is especially
33:18
true since it happens the chicken flesh
33:21
dark meat light meat doesn't matter that
33:24
chicken flesh is very high in arsenic
33:27
for reasons we don't need to go into
33:29
right now additionally you go to the
33:34
Journal of Family Practice dr. Caldwell
33:37
Esselstyn who has become very famous
33:39
because he appears in this movie forks
33:43
over knives which is a really excellent
33:45
movie if you want to really dip into the
33:47
whole issue of the plant-based diet it's
33:49
available for free on like Netflix and
33:52
YouTube and all of that anyway he did
33:55
this study he took one hundred and
33:57
seventy seven people and he was able to
34:00
cut their heart rate down to the
34:02
department there are incidents of heart
34:04
attack down 2.6% in other words six
34:07
tenths of a percent and on an
34:10
animal-based
34:11
21 people got heart attacks and died of
34:15
strokes in the same study because they
34:17
used a control group so there's a 57%
34:21
risk in heart disease for vegetarians
34:24
and primary for vegans and a 24%
34:29
reduction in heart disease for people
34:33
that are vegetarians but they still eat
34:36
eggs and and dairy
34:38
now we're told by the advertising
34:42
industry and a dairy board that no
34:44
dangerous that the no dairy is dangerous
34:47
and that's nonsense they will tell you
34:50
all you need dairy for calcium well the
34:53
funny thing is historically if you look
34:55
at anthropological data humanity only
34:58
began eating dairy relatively recently
35:01
in the last three three four thousand
35:03
years and before that we went along
35:06
really well without any and you will
35:09
also find that all throughout the world
35:12
there are many ethnic groups that are
35:13
lactose intolerant
35:15
for example 60 to 80 percent of
35:18
Ashkenazi Jews cannot eat lactose East
35:23
Asians are 90 percent lactose intolerant
35:26
Native Americans are 80 percent lactose
35:29
intolerant and 80 percent of indigenous
35:33
South American people the native Indians
35:37
down there
35:38
and 70 percent of African Americans
35:40
cannot digest dairy so you put all that
35:44
together you realize that probably
35:46
something like eighty percent seventy
35:48
five percent of the population can't
35:51
handle dairy now if we're dairy was an
35:54
absolutely essential thing for our diet
35:56
don't you think that Craner would have
35:58
enabled us to use it to eat it without
36:00
the vast majority of people in the world
36:02
becoming lactose intolerant you would
36:05
think so now they discovered as well if
36:10
there were some vegan Buddhist nuns this
36:12
is gonna study in the osteoporosis
36:14
International Journal that these vegan
36:17
nuns they're Buddhist nuns because
36:18
Buddhists for the most part don't eat
36:20
meat that they had the same bone density
36:24
is not the same population group of nuns
36:26
that ate meat and dairy so you know and
36:30
here's the other interesting thing
36:33
America in Western Europe where they eat
36:35
a lot of dairy those are the highest
36:38
countries for osteoporosis on the other
36:41
hand excuse me the the countries that
36:47
are lowest in dairy consumption like in
36:49
Asia Japan China Thailand these places
36:53
that need very little dairy they have
36:55
almost no osteoporosis even though Asian
36:59
women are by and large much smaller than
37:02
Caucasian women and of course the size
37:05
of your body has something to do with
37:07
the size of your bones so you'd think
37:09
there'd be more osteoporosis among
37:11
Japanese or Chinese women but this is
37:13
not the case that's because they eat
37:15
very little if any dairy products okay
37:18
now the other thing that these Western
37:22
price people roll is bone broth they
37:25
talk about all as stuff that's so good
37:28
for you and bone broth and how you know
37:31
you get all this collagen from it well
37:33
the problem is there is no science to
37:35
support this and it's not really a good
37:38
source of calcium because your body
37:39
can't absorb it lots of calcium by the
37:43
way is not really a good idea because
37:45
what happens is if it's a kind you can't
37:48
absorb it enterance ends up as bone
37:50
spurs gall stones or kidney stones and
37:53
you don't want any of that I had kidney
37:55
stones back in the early 90s it's
38:00
horrible and back then I was eating
38:03
dairy still I then wised up yet to the
38:05
complete truth about this stuff and and
38:07
kidney stones are extremely painful and
38:10
that's what your body will do sometimes
38:11
if it has all this calcium from dairy
38:14
that it can't process it'll put it in
38:16
your arteries and you get hardening in
38:18
the arteries or it'll put in daal stones
38:21
kidney stones or bone spurs none of
38:24
which do you want okay
38:27
collagen and bone broth we were told
38:29
helps skin bones and drinks but the
38:31
problem is when you take bone broth the
38:34
collagen that is broken down into amino
38:35
acid just like any other pro
38:37
there's nothing magical about bone broth
38:40
and you know dr. William Perry was a PhD
38:44
in nutrition says that the idea that
38:46
bone broth somehow transfers collagen of
38:49
the body is nonsensical he says that
38:52
bone broth is actually a very poor
38:54
source for calcium and the funny thing
38:57
is is that plants offer a richer source
39:01
of calcium and collagen especially dark
39:04
green leafy vegetables everybody's you
39:07
know hero in terms of plants now the
39:10
other thing is you will find that oils
39:14
are dangerous and of course these
39:16
Western price people are always
39:18
promoting oils see oil raises the level
39:21
of LDL cholesterol now why is it so
39:25
because oil is a refined food
39:27
let me explain if you eat an olive and
39:30
olive is very healthy but if you take
39:33
the olive and squeeze it or press it or
39:36
however they do it depending on the
39:37
method and get the oil out of it then
39:40
the oil becomes an isolated nutrient
39:43
that it has no food it's pure fat
39:46
whereas the olive has other good things
39:49
in it as vitamins and minerals in it so
39:52
it becomes an isolated fluid this is
39:54
true of almost all oil and you know
39:58
there's all these problem like for
40:00
example the journal European Journal of
40:04
Clinical Nutrition in 1988 found that
40:06
the people who had butter had 157 LDL
40:10
people like coconut oil had one 46.3 LDL
40:15
so there's hardly any difference between
40:16
eating butter which everybody agrees is
40:18
well on everybody not the Western price
40:21
people and almost everybody else says
40:22
butter is bad for you and and yet if you
40:26
eat coconut oil which all kinds of
40:28
health nuts claim is really good for you
40:30
there you have it it's almost got the
40:32
same level of LDL when you when you
40:34
process it in your body both raised LDL
40:39
from the participants baseline of 137 so
40:44
coconut oil raised these people's LDL
40:47
which is your bad cholesterol by 10
40:50
points and that's terrible same problem
40:53
with olive oil olive oil damages the
40:57
endothelial function of your of your
41:00
blood vessels after you eat it and what
41:03
does that mean well it's not good
41:04
because the endothelium is this thin
41:07
layer in your cells and your artery part
41:09
of your arteries of your body and if
41:12
that endothelial cell a part of the
41:14
membrane is damaged it ends up causing
41:18
problems later on because it will start
41:21
developing plaque and atheroma and it'll
41:25
end up getting getting they'll be like a
41:27
bulge coming out of the wall of the
41:29
endothelium before you know it you have
41:32
cholesterol little crystals of
41:35
cholesterol sticking to that and it gets
41:37
bigger and bigger and before you know it
41:39
I mean yah-hoo forbidden blocks the
41:41
artery and you've got it or a stroke or
41:44
a heart attack just BAM and remember
41:47
this people worry about heart attacks
41:50
and they should but the sad thing is
41:52
according to medical statistics most
41:55
people the first sign may have a heart
41:57
attack is if they have one and they die
41:59
so you don't want to mess around with
42:02
this stuff you do not want to be eating
42:04
these these high-fat animal-based
42:07
products because they're gonna clog up
42:09
your arteries and cause heart disease
42:10
whereas it has been repeatedly
42:12
demonstrated excuse me that if you need
42:15
a plant-based diet you can actually
42:17
reverse your heart disease you can
42:20
actually walk it back
42:22
you know instead of having going and
42:23
having a stent which never really solves
42:26
the problem or the balloon thing you
42:29
know where they angioplasty I think it's
42:31
called
42:32
when I was in school to become a
42:36
nutritional doctor my professor said you
42:39
got to be aware of clowns that blow up
42:41
balloons and wear masks which of course
42:43
meant these people that do angioplasty
42:46
and you know why do something like that
42:49
or a bypass like my poor father he had a
42:52
quadruple bypass after a life of eating
42:54
meat and cheese and it nearly killed him
42:56
and they died six months later from
42:58
cancer
42:59
it was a terrible thing to watch and he
43:01
wouldn't listen to me you know and of
43:03
course that's often the way it is we
43:05
tend to not listen to our chiller when
43:07
they try and give us advice so anyway
43:11
let's see after eating a high-fat meal
43:15
you can see how your arteries the blood
43:18
in your arteries turns into sludge and
43:21
this has been demonstrated by tests and
43:23
that is not good because it means it
43:26
slows down the blood that's to the blood
43:28
going through your body and it makes it
43:30
more likely that if you do have any
43:32
blockages in your arteries that they're
43:35
gonna they're gonna there's gonna be a
43:36
stall there and you end up with a
43:38
serious block of it can cause a stroke
43:40
or a heart attack
43:42
and you know if you have a low fat meal
43:46
you don't get any of this none
43:49
whatsoever
43:50
and they've done tests to show both
43:52
sides of it fat or oil is a bad risk for
43:55
diabetes as well because the fat
43:58
interferes with the body's ability to
44:01
take glucose into your cells and your
44:04
cells desperately need glucose to run
44:07
the energy of the of the body so you
44:11
know this is not good and you end up
44:14
discovering if you study this out as I
44:17
have done that essentially the most
44:20
remote the thing you can do the most
44:22
make diabetes worse is not eating a
44:24
bunch of sugar or fruit but rather it's
44:28
eating meat and dairy that will
44:30
definitely make your blood sugar go up
44:32
and will make your diabetes worse and
44:34
that's why you discover down through the
44:38
years that any diabetic that follows the
44:42
typical American Diabetes of association
44:45
diet ends up having to be on insulin and
44:47
that's never a good thing
44:49
so you know the the ideal levels for LDL
44:56
are 60 to 70 and a lot of people that
45:00
are vegans or plant-based they will have
45:04
a a LDL level of between 60 and 70
45:09
that's very common that's what mine is
45:10
the last time I was checked a few weeks
45:12
ago and you know the experts will tell
45:16
you cardio is will save you can get your
45:19
LDL down to 57 that means you're
45:22
virtually heart-attack proof even if you
45:25
don't do all the other right stuff like
45:28
you know walk and exercise and all that
45:30
which is of course a very good thing to
45:32
do now I know this is a long video and I
45:37
appreciate your your patience with this
45:40
but I want you to understand these
45:41
things because there are people out
45:44
there on the internet on Facebook that
45:46
are promoting Western price or the Paleo
45:48
diet the two are very similar and it's
45:52
really really bad advice and people need
45:55
to not just believe everything they hear
45:57
and I'll tell you don't believe what I'm
45:59
saying my own experience is that when I
46:02
was eat I was on a years ago just in
46:05
with this story I was trying to lose
46:07
weight in the late 1970s and I was on
46:12
the Atkins diet which is the ancestor of
46:15
what is today called the Paleo diet even
46:17
though it's not a paleo diet because the
46:19
funny thing is anthropologists
46:23
archaeologists have discovered for enter
46:25
called forensic archaeologists they've
46:27
actually gone and taken apart the
46:30
fossils of primitive people from around
46:33
the world from that era the Paleolithic
46:35
era which is where that word paleo comes
46:37
from and they didn't eat meat they ate
46:41
seed say they could pull stuff out of
46:44
the fossilized teeth of these remains of
46:47
these people from thousands of years ago
46:49
and they appear to be eating grains and
46:52
and carbohydrates they might have eaten
46:55
a little meat if they could get their
46:57
hands on it you know because that life
46:59
was hard back then but they mostly ate
47:01
grains and yams tubers things of that
47:05
nature so the Paleo diet isn't even what
47:08
people think it is it's actually just a
47:11
repackaging of the Atkins diet in any
47:13
event I was on this Atkins diet and I
47:17
developed colon cancer at the age of 30
47:20
and it was only by doing a colonic
47:23
hydrotherapy and getting totally off
47:25
meat and dairy
47:25
and doing juicing and taking a lot of
47:29
chaparral tea which is a powerful
47:31
anti-cancer herb I cured myself
47:36
well actually the almighty cured me even
47:38
though back then I was a Mormon I didn't
47:40
even know the real Osho of Jesus and yet
47:44
still the almighty healed me because I
47:46
started eating the Genesis 1:29 diet
47:49
instead of a diet that was hammered out
47:52
in the pits of hell so in any event
47:55
there are all these problems with the
47:59
Western price diet there's no good
48:01
science behind it but I was trying to
48:02
say
48:03
that's an anecdotal story of mine but
48:05
you can go and you can find hundreds of
48:07
case studies hundreds of scientific
48:09
papers on like dr. Gregers website again
48:13
nutritionfacts.org that get into this
48:17
and at the same time I also have a video
48:19
called medical conspiracy which is an
48:23
excellent video on the whole thing of
48:25
how our health got into this state and
48:28
now it's important to move away from
48:30
from of this processed food and meat and
48:33
dairy and all that into a plant-based
48:34
diet we have medical murder and we're
48:40
right now reworking our any oxidants
48:42
bulletproofing the moon ramune system to
48:45
update that we'll have that out very
48:46
soon yeah hello Willie so we've got all
48:50

body you're in is the temple of the rock
49:18
the set-apart spirit and you've got to
49:20
take care of it because you want to be
49:22
here a long time and if you who shoe
49:25
Oteri's and you want to be here a long
49:28
time and be vigorous and healthy and
49:30
able to do the work that the almighty
49:32
has given you be able to spread the
49:34
gospel and whatever else
49:37
this is the mission your life that has
49:40
been given to you by having to do you
49:42
want to be able to do it effectively and
49:43
your aren't able to do that if you end
49:45
up with one of these terrible
49:46
degenerative diseases so in any event
49:49
thank you so much for for praying for us
49:53
and for sharing this and subscribing and
49:56
we also please with Jesus if you if you
49:58
want to know when these videos come out
50:00
because we try to get one out every week
50:01
but we hit the little bell on the next
50:06
to the subscribe button and you will get
50:08
notifications when you when we come out
50:10
with a new video so hit the bell as well
50:12
and it'll make it more easy for you to
50:14

50:16
much and again please pray for us and
50:18
please pray about supporting our
50:20
ministry because we are entirely a

faith-based ministry thank you so much
